Knowledge and Information Associate
Nicole is supporting the implementation and continuous improvement of CCLFI’s website and online course.
She is a graduate student finishing her M.A. Political Science degree at De La Salle University. Most recently, she was a Junior Communication Officer who supported the development and implementation of communication activities of a USAID-funded project. She contributed to the project’s initiatives that aimed to promote inclusive, sustainable and resilient economic growth in secondary Philippine cities.
From 2013 to 2015, she was a Knowledge Management Analyst at the International Labor Organization's Impact Insurance Facility in Geneva where she supported Knowledge Management activities, which included promoting the Facility’s knowledge products as well as tracking and analyzing the use of these materials. She managed the revamp of the Facility’s knowledge portal and documented various knowledge processes into reference guides. She was involved in the launch of the Facility’s e-learning platform and managed the pilot blended course. She has experience in e-learning tools such as Articulate Storyline and Moodle.
Her research topic interests include Information and communications technology (ICT) for disaster risk reduction, e-Government, social media and political communication, and transboundary environmental management.
